The iPhone 6c is believed to be making its debut by the first quarter of 2016, although nothing has been made official by Apple.

To date, folks who are eager to know what the iPhone 6c will have to offer have only rumors to rely on. That includes creative and impressive renders such as the one made by Ferry Passchier.

Passchier has come up with intriguing new renders of the iPhone 6c, something expected to be out using a metallic shell compared to the plastic ones that the iPhone 5c previously donned.

The renders are scaled-down models of the iPhone 6/6s devices with colored shells where the present colors off the iPod Touch were his basis for calling the possible shades it would come in.

Of course, these are not official, but credit goes to Passchier for putting his creative mind to work. It may not turn out the way he calls it but it is perhaps the closest one (and perhaps the best one) many iPhone 6c rumor hunters will certainly find impressive.

Other than the external design, it would be best to take note of what the inside would have to offer.

The iPhone 6c is expected to sport a smaller 4-inch (640x1136 resolution) display and something that will likely rely on an A8 chipset. The budget-friendly iPhone 6c is said to be sporting an 8-megapixel iSight (Dual LED flash) main camera while also offering a front-facing 1.3-megapixel (f/2.2 aperture) shooter.

As far as possibly sporting Apple's famed 3D Touch, potential buyers may have to bring down their expectations a bit. With pricing possibly a constraint, the most likely feature that it will carry instead would be a Touch ID and maybe support for Apple Pay.

As far as pricing for the iPhone 6c is concerned, Phone Arena hints that it may likely be priced somewhere between $400 to $500 for the base model.
