Apple has confirmed that Sept. 9 will be a big day for the company. Just recently, the Cupertino-based tech giant sent out invites for an event taking place on the said date, which is what rumor mills have been claiming as the day a slew of new Apple products will be unveiled. 

Among these products are allegedly the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, which are the major subjects of rumor mills in the past few months. There are tons of leaks, speculations and reports about what the new devices will bring, and the latest one hints that the pair borrows another feature from the Apple Watch. 

As per reports, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will have animated wallpapers just like the wearable. The Apple Watch offers animated jellyfish, butterflies and flowers while future iPhone 6s owners will apparently have an animated koi fish, flowers and also colored powdery smoke to choose from. 

Previous rumors claim that the new iPhone will also boast the Force Touch feature, which was native to the Apple Watch. This feature, which translates a light tap and a press differently, also made it to the newest MacBook in the lineup. 

Apple wasn't always very keen on amping up the megapixels of its iPhones' shooters but rumor has it that the company will go all out for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus with a new and very hefty 12-megapixel rear-facing camera, which can shoot 4K videos. There's no word on how many megapixels Apple will put in on the front camera but there's already information that the FaceTime snapper of the new iPhones is capable of shooting 1080p video at 60 fps and 240 fps in slow motion mode. 

Apple's invite for the Sept. 9 reads, "Hey Siri, give us a hint." According to Forbes, this teaser suggests that the event will have the spotlight on the new Apple TV, which is said to be finally getting the company's digital assistant.
