iPhone 7 rumors have been floating around non-stop over the past few months, and now, the most recent rumors suggest that Apple may be thinking about going small with their next release.

According to Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, and as reported on by Forbes, Apple is reportedly contemplating the idea of releasing a new four-inch iPhone, which would supposedly be the entry-level model of their next major line.

The rumor suggests that Apple is actually planning to release three different versions of the iPhone 7. One of the models will be the four-inch variant and following that will be a 4.7-inch model; the biggest one will offer a 5.5 inch display. The three different versions of the iPhone 7 could also be released with different internal specs such as RAM.

Kuo's reveal is still just a rumor at this point, considering Apple has not made anything official, although he has proven to be fairly accurate at least in terms of other predictions he has made.

Other rumors regarding the iPhone 7 also suggest that Apple is planning on a major design overhaul for the new device.

According to Alphr, one of the ways in which Apple is planning to change things up with regard to the look of the iPhone 7 is through finally removing its home button, a move that has also been rumored for other devices under the Apple brand.

If Apple decides to remove the home button, they would supposedly change the location of its Touch ID component as well.

According to Apple Insider, the company is also reportedly looking to change things up with regard to their release date plans.

In the past, Apple has stuck to a September release date for their new smartphones, but now, they are supposedly looking into moving the timeline up to get the new devices out earlier.
