With Holidays in full swing, there will be a lot of folks out there who may have just enough cash to get hold of the iPhone 6s or 6s Plus.

The said iPhone model is the latest one Apple loyalists can get, something that offers great features for folks wanting to reward themselves with a top phone before 2015 comes to a close.

And while the iPhone 6s has proven to be a dandy, many may have come across rumors tied up with the iPhone 7. Bear in mind that the next iPhone iteration is likely to come out by September 2016 which is a good nine to ten months away.

So with that in mind, some folks may be torn between getting an iPhone 6s or 6s Plus already and waiting (and probably saving up) to get the next iPhone.

Well, here are some of the rumors on the table for the iPhone 7.

Among them include a reportedly thinner iPhone which may do away with the usual 3.5-millimeter jack. The "Home" button could be gone, although the lightning connector may still be around. There is growing belief as well that the iPhone 7 may use the USB Type-C for docking so expect a lot of reactions on how folks can continue to listen to media using their traditional earphones.

It remains to be seen if Apple will already arm it with an A10 chip which means that this will be another power-playing device in the making.

Aside from that, the iPhone 7 will reportedly come with a dual-camera with optical zoom that could mean better pictures for users compared to the current 12-megapixel camera that is now in use.

Rumored water-resistant features is another thing to look out for, particularly for the ones who end up with conked out devices on account of accidental water intrusion.

Given the specs above, would it be wise to wait for the iPhone 7 or simply get the iPhone 6s now?

Depending on one's patience, it could be worth the wait but do remember that the specs mentioned on the iPhone 7 are purely rumors for now. Some could come out while others may not. So for those who want a sure thing, the iPhone 6s could be a good buy for now unless they can hold up for another nine to ten months.
