Numerous rumors suggest a variety of changes coming to the iPhone, and the latest one would indicate that a different kind of 3D Touch setup will be featured.

According to the Taiwanese web site apple.club.tw and as reported on by Apple Insider, leaked images of the rumored phone would suggest that it will be featuring a new kind of 3D Touch setup.

It is the backlight assembly of the rumored phone seen in the images that is leading people to believe that Apple may have tweaked the 3D Touch feature.

As of now, it is unclear what kind of impact, if any, the apparent change may have on the iPhone 7, though it would suggest that Apple is indeed changing things up.

The apparent 3D Touch tweak also comes in the wake of other rumors suggesting a wide array of changes for the iPhone 7.

For example, rumors have previously suggested that the iPhone 7 will soon be ditching the conventional headphone jack, and that one in particular is gaining more and more traction.

Instead of using the conventional headphone jack, iPhone 7 owners will reportedly be asked to rely on the Lightning port for their listening needs. Going with the Lightning port instead of the old headphone jack will supposedly provide Apple with the ability to produce a thinner smartphone.

Removing the old headphone jack will also reportedly help improve the iPhone 7's waterproof capabilities.

A source speaking to Fast Company also revealed that this new Lightning port might also make it possible for the iPhone to feature new noise-canceling technology.

Noise-canceling technology will reportedly be integrated into the phone itself and into the headphones that will be compatible with it. According to Fast Company's source, Apple will likely be releasing their own brand of earphones for the iPhone 7.

More news about the iPhone 7 is expected to be made available soon.
