While Apple prepares for its event this month, leaks regarding the reported iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus continue to appear online.

MacRumors shared the possible first photo of the iPhone 7 Plus, taken from Chinese website Bastille Post.

Based on the leaked photo, the rumored iPhone 7 Plus will come out with a dual-lens camera that has an extended, oblong-shaped enclosure. This looks different from the two distinct camera openings mentioned in previous reports.

Rumors about the dual-lens 12MP primary camera for the iPhone 7 Plus mentioned that it will come with a LED flash and microphone, just like the cameras in the existing iPhone models. Three dots can also be seen on the bottom of the unit, which could be intended for the Smart Connector that was first introduced when the iPad Pro came out. However, it remains unclear whether the dual-lens camera feature will also be included in the iPhone 7 specs.

The rumored specs for iPhone 7 claims that it will have a 4.7-inch Retina HD display with 1334 x 750 resolution and 326 ppi and a 5MP front camera.

It is also rumored to come with 16GB, 64GB or 128 GB storage and reportedly powered by Apple's A10 processor with 2 GB RAM.

Other reports claim that the Cupertino-based tech firm is planning to add a new storage option that could be as high as 256GB for the iPhone 7 Plus. This rumor came out when an Italian website called HDBlog posted an image of the SanDisk 256GB NAND flash memory chip that could reportedly fit the next-generation iPhone model.

Meanwhile, BGR revealed that the soon-to-be-released iPhone 7 will omit the home button for it to have a larger screen in a simpler, more compact design.

More details about the reported iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are expected to be revealed at Apple's event on March 31.
