The expected release date for the iPhone 8 is still more than half a year away, but the rumor mill is blazing with predictions and speculations. It is now believed that next year's model will sport a bigger screen, carry an OLED display panel, and feature augmented reality in its Camera app.

Many are seeing that the 2017 model will be something different. The iPhone will have its 10-year milestone next year, and it is expected to offer something special. Tech Radar suggests that the next one will be offered with a bigger screen size compared to the current model and that it will still have the usual two models. There are also speculations that Apple will replace its LCD screens with OLED display panels, and there are also reports that only one model is said to carry the newer display technology. Some reports even suggest that there are three models that will be released, but only one variant will contain an OLED screen.

Back in September, Business Insider reported that Apple is said to be developing components in Israel, and one of these is said to be the camera of the phone. No specific details were divulged by the employee of the Herzliya-based plant but said that the next phone will be different and will not be similar to the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 7. The sources also said that a better camera is in the offering. The Cupertino-based tech giant is also rumored to be obsessed with AR (augmented reality) that they are trying to incorporate into their device.

Mac Rumors also stated that an edge-to-edge display could be expected, which will remove the front-facing camera and the fingerprint sensor. The two components will then be integrated into its display screen. The new device will look like a single sheet of glass and curved on both sides.

Additionally, a faster A11 processor is expected to power the alleged device, as well as wireless charging and an all glass external body with an aluminum or stainless steel frame. It is also said that the 3.5mm headphone jack will not be resurrected on the upcoming model.
