Reviewers are calling the iPhone X as the best iPhone ever made. The new Apple smartphone was first revealed at the Steve Jobs Theater.

As part of the company's 10th anniversary, iPhone X will be featuring a full-screen display. According Apple CEO Tim Cook, the anniversary smartphone is the biggest leap among all units since the first model came out. The screen of the iPhone X will be taking the entire face of the phone, with no physical home button. Materials for the unit include surgical-grade stainless steel. Like its predecessors, the new phone will be dust and water-resistant.

iPhone X will be featuring an OLED display called Super Retina Display, which boasts 2,436x1,125pixels. This screen display will be correcting issues with brightness and color accuracy. This OLED screen will also feature Dolby Vision and HDR10 that will be great for high-contrast video playback.

The iPhone X also takes away a feature from the iPad Pro called TrueTone Dynamic for white-balance adjustments. The new A11 bionic chip allows for a wireless charging that can also work well with Qi systems that are built-in cars models of the this generation.

Although the absence of the physical Home Button will be a bit of a learning curve for iPhone loyalists, iPhone X will be the most intuitive iPhone yet. The iPhone X was released to the market last Sept. 22 with a price range of $999 (64 GB) or $1,149 (256 GB).

As for the iPhone 8, although the phone has had a divided reception since its release last Sept. 15, the unit has been doing significantly well. Unlike the iPhone X, the iPhone 8 still has a physical home button that tailors to old-school iPhone lovers. The screen also still has a thick bezel on the sides that make the unit look overly dated compared to its Samsung and LG competitors. iPhone 8 is sold at $699 (32 GB) and $849 (256 GB).
