With the coming holidays, consumers are most probably looking into spending their bonuses on something nice, like the highly coveted iPhone 8 and iPhone X. Find out which of Apple's newest gadgets are the best fit in the comparison below.

First off is design. Both phones sport industrial designs, but iPhone X is arguably the more standout. The almost bezel-less phone sports a screen that stretches right to the edges, a futuristic design that makes it more eye-catching than usual. The cut-out at the top dips into the screen and also contains various helpful sensors as well as the front camera.

Both iPhones sport black glass backs. Although that looks sleek, whether it is also durable is yet to be confirmed. Both are also water-resistant.

iPhone 8 still has that iconic circular home button, which also allows for Touch ID. iPhone X, meantime, traded that for the headphone jack. Touch ID was also replaced with the new Face ID in the 10th anniversary phone.
