Liv (Rose McIver) and Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) investigate a womanizer's murder in the upcoming episode of "iZombie" season 3.

Titled "Dirt Nap Time," next week's episode will see Blaine (David Anders) deal with the consequences of his actions. According to the official synopsis, Clive and Liv team up to solve a preschool teacher's mysterious death. They later discover that behind Blaine's charming personality lies a manipulative womanizer. Things get interesting when the victim's jealous girlfriend Piper (guest star Shenae Grimes) is brought in for further questioning. Peyton (Aly Michalka) is tasked to work on a special case, while Blaine finds himself in serious trouble.

Last week's episode saw Blaine confess to Peyton that he had been faking his amnesia all along. He actually regained his memories back when he took the second cure. Major (Robert Buckley) was back to being human and Liv wanted to be like him. Unfortunately, the rest of Ravi's (Rahul Kohli) cure was stolen and the last vial belonged to Natalie (Brooke Lyons).

With Major back to his human form, one of the biggest questions on the show right now is whether he will leave his job at Fillmore Graves. Executive producer Rob Thomas recently told TV Line that Major's future plans will be explored in the following episodes.

"Major has found a home at Fillmore Graves, and these are his people now," Thomas said. "These are the people who don't care that he was accused of being the Chaos Killer. He wants to keep working there, despite being a human, and he's going to see how long he can get away with it. And eventually, he may not get away with it. That's a fun storyline for the back half."

"iZombie" is only halfway through its third season, but The CW has decided to renew the series for another run. Created by veteran writer and executive producer Rob Thomas, the hit dramedy continues to be a reliable performer for the network. In season 3, so far, the program has an average of 0.7 rating and 1.6 million viewers.

The third season of "iZombie" airs every Tuesday at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
