The Jacksonville Jaguars and the New Orleans Saints will clash in one of three late afternoon games on Sunday in Week 16 of the NFL 2015 regular season. The game has a scheduled start time of 4.05 p.m. ET and takes place from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. The game can be watched on TV on the CBS network or online through live stream via the link below.

The New Orleans Saints will be looking to win today to try and avoid their worst season under coach Sean Payton. However, they may have to do without quarterback Drew Brees who may or may not be available.

The Jaguars oppositely will be looking to claim the victory so that they can record their most wins in a season for five years.

The Saints played on Monday against the Denver Broncos, with New Orleans losing out 35-27. Brees played in that game but reportedly played through an injured foot, which has been confirmed as a torn plantar fascia, and that injury could keep him out of today's game against the Jaguars.

Against the Broncos, Brees threw 341 yards for three touchdowns, in a performance that saw him move past 4,000 yards for an NFL record 10th straight season.

Payton has said about Brees' injury: "We're kind of taking it day by day. Each day we'll gather more information and have a better idea of where he will be as it pertains to playing."

Earlier this week on Saturday night, the NFC East division was all but concluded, with the Washington Redskins defeating the Philadelphia Eagles to confirm themselves as division champions.

The Redskins clinched the division title, and with it a postseason spot, with a comfortable 38-24 win. Their appearance in the Playoffs this season will be their first since the 2012 season, and comes as a surprise as not many had predicted the Redskins would take the NFC East at the start of the season.

The result means the 8-7 Redskins will play a home Playoff game against the No. 5 seeded team in the NFC. At the moment that would mean a match up against the Seattle Seahawks, which would be a massive challenge as they have made huge strides in the second half of the season and at the moment look like one of the most dangerous teams in the league.

If the results in the coming few weeks shake things up more though, then the Redskins could get a game against the 9-5 Minnesota Vikings, which is another daunting prospect for Washington. However, at the moment the Redskins may just want to enjoy the fact that they're back in the postseason and whoever it turns out they face, what will be will be.

Kirk Cousins has been one of the core reasons the Redskins have managed to surprise people this season, and he has played above everyone's expectations. On Saturday night he completed 31 of 46 throws for 365 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions.

At the start of the season, the Redskins suffered poor form through their opening six games. During that period, Kirk Cousins threw eight interceptions, where as in the nine games since he threw just three.

They will need the new improved Kirk Cousins if they are to make an impact in the Playoffs.
