Marvel is certainly working hard at getting all their superhero movies lined up, and Warner Bros. is putting up a fight. Recently, Warner Bros. has been planning a new breed of animated and live action projects, one of which is Static Shock, a DC Comics superhero.

DC Comics' "Static Shock" is already moving forward and many are asking, who will Warner Bros. cast for the role of Virgil Hawkins? According to Flickering Myth, Jaden Smith may just land the role.

Well, Virgil Hawkins' profile does look like something that Jaden can pull off. Virgil is a teenager, a geek and someone who loves video games very much. He has electromagnetic powers, which he uses to fight criminals. Jaden might just look and act the part.

However, this isn't the first time that "Static Shock" was made into a TV series. Before, it was made into an animated show in New Zealand and it also aired on Disney U.S. recently. But surely, a live-action series for a DC Comic superhero will be a much better project for Warner Bros. given that they're going all the way when it comes to TV shows like "Arrow," "The Flash," and "Gotham."

Flickering Myth also reported that Jaden being cast for the role of Static Shock is very likely to happen. For one, his mother Jada Pinkett Smith is in "Gotham," and for another, his father Will Smith is rumored to play a superhero in DC's "Suicide Squad" movie.

According to Cinema Blend, Jaden is used to being a feature guy in movies like in "The Day The Earth Stood Still," "The Karate Kid" remake and "After Earth." He has also signed on for "The Karate Kid 2." Although his last movie "After Earth" didn't do that well in the box office, landing the role of Virgil Hawkins can put his career back in the map.

Jaden is of the perfect age. He is 16 years old and looks like the perfect kid to play Static Shock. But superhero fans will have to wait and see if Warner Bros. has anyone else on their minds for the role.

Eating - and eating together - is never a side note in the biblical story. It is one of the ways God forms community, renews covenant, and reveals Himself.
