James Bond 'Spectre' movie news: Will Blofield's scar get more gruesome?

While NBA fans were busy cheering for their team during the Finals season, a new TV spot teaser for "Spectre" was shown during one of the commercial gaps.

The new trailer for Agent 007's 24th film shows more action-packed car scenes, complete with James Bond's (Daniel Craig) signature explosive car chase scenes with blown-up luxury vehicles along the streets of Austria as well as the chasing of an aircraft in a snowy mountain. Some of these scenes were not featured in the first "Spectre" trailer that was released in March.

But just like the first trailer, the face of Christopher Waltz' character Franz Oberhauser remains unrevealed in the new TV spot for the movie. Fans are already wondering about the secrets of Oberhauser, but recent set photos provide the possible answer to the mystery.

On the photos featured in The Daily Mail, Waltz's face is covered with motion capture markers when the actor was filming for as scene in "Spectre" early this week in London. The novels written by Ian Fleming mentioned that Oberhauser is the name of Bond's childhood friend who later on became one of his mortal enemies. However, early speculations about the movie stated that Oberhauser is actually Bond's mortal enemy Blofield, known for his signature deep scar.

But if director Sam Mendes chose to use motion capture markers instead of the usual makeup effects for Blofield's disfigured face, it could mean that "Spectre's" version will be more gruesome compared to the past Bond films.

Craig and Waltz will be joined by Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, the widow of an assassin who was killed by Agent 007; Alessandro Cremona as Lucia's husband Marco Sciarra; Lea Seydoux as psychologist Dr. Madeleine Swann; Dave Bautista as high-ranking SPECTRE member and assassin Mr. Hinx; Ralph Fiennes as Bond's superior M; and Naomie Harris as M's assistant Eve Moneypenny.

"Spectre" is slated for release on Nov. 6.
