Reports of the British actress Kate Winslet confirmed that she will be working once again with renowned director, James Cameron, for the sequels of "Avatar." This will be the first time in roughly two decades that the two will be working with each other once more, and not just for one movie at that.

In a report by Den of Geek, they had expressed how much of a big deal it is for Cameron and Winslet to be working together after a very long time especially since the two had personal issues on the set of the block-buster film "Titanic." One of the feuds that happened in 2012 stemmed from the fact that Cameron's Oscar winning "Titanic" cast an enormous shadow on Winslet, and she wanted to break free from being typecast. Perhaps, 20 years is enough for the two to have set their differences aside.

Not only will Winslet be part of the "Avatar" sequels, she will be taking on leading roles for the films. According to Deadline, the role that Winslet will be playing will be of Ronal. Cameron told them exclusively that "I can't wait to see her bring the character of Ronal to life." There are no details yet regarding what kind of character Ronal is.

Vanity Fair reported that it is not even certain if Ronal will be the movie's fictional giant blue species called the Na'vi or a human. However, it is safe to assume that given the uncommon name, speculations incline towards Ronal being a member of the Na'vi race.

Nonetheless, Cameron was very careful not to reveal anything about Winslet's character or the plot. The shooting for the movies has already began as of late September. As of now, Cameron plans on releasing four sequels, and the next one is scheduled to be released on Dec. 18, 2020.
