Contrary to the reports going around, former "19 Kids and Counting" star Jana Duggar won't be getting a spinoff from TLC. The Duggar family themselves assured that a show surrounding the eldest Duggar sibling or any other members of the clan is not in the works.

"We know that fans are eager to see this super-sized clan reclaim its place in the TLC lineup, but we want to encourage everyone to proceed with caution when reading the tabloids," the Duggars wrote on their official Duggar Family blog.

"As of right now, there has been no official, public word from either TLC or the Duggar family regarding the possibility of a new show. Rest assured that if and when an announcement is made, we will share all the details," the clan promised.

In the past few days, rumors were going around that a show focusing on Jana's single life is in development. The reality star was allegedly spotted with a camera crew when visiting a lumberyard, whose manager claims he was approached by a production crew.

"The production company from Nashville called me last week, it was the day before they wanted to come in and film. Then the normal camera guy for the family called me and then [Jana's twin] John David did," the manager explained to Radar Online.

Jana's visit to the lumberyard was about her family's to build a tree house. In the Facebook page named Duggar Family News: Life is not all pickles and hairspray, a photo of the said tree house was shared.

Fans are truly waiting for Jana to step into the spotlight. The 26-year-old did not enjoy much screen time in "19 Kids and Counting." TLC focused on Jill and Jessa Duggar in the three-episode mini-series "Jill and Jessa: Counting On."

Some fans felt like it is Jana's turn to stand at the forefront but this time still has not come, apparently.
