Jane Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez) and Michael Cordero (Brett Dier) have finally decided to be engaged once again, but family drama never ceases in "Jane the Virgin" season 2.

For the upcoming episode, Rafael Solano (Justin Baldoni) and Petra Solano (Yael Grobglas) will face an early bump in parenthood after Petra gives birth to their twin daughters Anna and Elsa. According to the synopsis for the episode, Petra does not seem to be interested to become a mother and will immediately get back to work.

In an interview with TVLine, executive producer Jennie Urman shared that Petra's motherhood journey will be very different from Jane's.

According to Urman, Petra will experience as much difficulty as a new mother as she did during pregnancy and childbirth.

"Petra's version of what a mom looks like is different than Jane's. She also has to reconcile that, and that's OK," the executive producer shared.

Meanwhile, the Villanueva household will be filled with tension after Xo (Andrea Navedo) decides to invite Alba's (Ivonne Coll) former lover Pablo (guest star Marcelo Tubert). Alba will be annoyed because she believes that Pablo could only bring bad luck to their lives.

Jane, on the other hand, will start to get worried because she is having a hard time contacting her father Rogelio de la Vega (Jaime Camil) since he is being kept by Lola (guest star Ana De la Reguera). Can she finally find a way to get through to her father to tell him about her engagement with Michael?

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Dier talked about the special bond between his character Michael and Jane's dad Rogelio. According to the actor, the bromance between the characters will start to get better.

"The Rogelio bromance is something that I think is going to be better than ever, because now there isn't something that's holding Michael back from being friends with him," Dier said. "He's with Jane for now, and because he's with Jane, he feels, 'OK, now I can fully embrace this friendship that I've always had with this guy that I felt kind of weird about.' Now, it's going to be a full-blown bromine."

"Jane the Virgin" season 2 episode 15 airs on March 21 on The CW.
