Rafael Solano (Justin Baldoni) will be in hot water because of his different arrangements with his children in the next episode of "Jane the Virgin" season 2.

In "Chapter Forty-One," Jane Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez) will realize that she and Rafael needs to make a formal arrangement regarding the custody of their son Mateo. The two will ask the help of a mediator to make their arrangement beneficial for both parties, and stop them in case any disagreement arises.

But while things are looking good for Rafael and Jane, his other baby mama Petra (Yael Grobglas) will confront him after she learned that the trust fund of Mateo is better compared to her twin daughters. Despite her newly formed friendship with Jane, Petra will not allow her kids to get less than what she thinks they deserve. Will this cause further headaches for Rafael?

Meanwhile, the episode will also center on Xo's (Andrea Navedo) first foray into an acting career. Rogelio (Jaime Camil) encouraged her to get an acting part on his telenovela, and even asked the show's head writer Dina Milagro (Judy Reyes) to give her a role.

In the trailer for the episode, Dina showed her reluctance in casting Xo, yet she appears to give in to Rogelio's plea. But Jane's mother will have a hard time on the set, since this will be her first time to act in front of the camera and act in Spanish language. Rogelio appears to be very willing to assist her, even to the point of taping the Spanish script in his costume. However, the synopsis for the episode revealed that both Xo and Rogelio will be surprised with her performance.

Also, the synopsis revealed that Jane's fiancé Michael (Brett Dier) will be reprimanded by his superior when the press run a story linking him to Sin Rostro.
