This week, "Jane the Virgin" returned after its winter hiatus with a strong episode, which involved the young mother sleep training her baby boy, and an accidentally sent Facebook friend request, courtesy of the infant.

In the episode, Xo (Andrea Navedo) saw Michael (Brett Dier) and his new girlfriend outside the Cubano truck, and naturally Xo felt that it was her duty to tell her daughter all about it. Curious about the girlfriend's identity, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) took to Facebook to stalk her page, which led to baby Mateo hitting his foot on Jane's keyboard and sending Michael's new girlfriend a friend request. When Michael came to talk to Jane about it, she told him what happened, and later the two agreed not to have any communication with each other.

As Jane focuses on her baby and her new job this season, someone will come along who sparks her interest, and Jane starts to think that perhaps she should try dating again.

In next week's episode, Jane suddenly gets inspired in the middle of the night and starts her thesis. But as Mateo is still refusing to sleep through the night, she decides to carry him while working on the paper, which leads to another accident. This time, the baby spills orange juice all over her computer, causing it to crash and Jane loses all her hard work.

Jane brings her computer to be fixed, and she meets Dax, to be played by guest star Diego Boneta. With some urging from her good friend Lina (Diane Guerrero), Jane considers dating again.

Elsewhere in the episode, Rogelio (Jaime Camil) decides to hire his mother Liliana (Rita Moreno) as his new manager, only to find out that this was not a smart decision. Rafael (Justin Baldoni) gains consciousness after being attacked by his mother, known as crime lord Mutter, and he goes to Michael to tell him what Mutter is looking for.

"Jane the Virgin" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on The CW.
