"Jane the Virgin" will soon be airing its second to the last episode, and things will start to get intense, especially with the flash-forward in this season. Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Rafael (Justin Baldoni) will have to be honest with their son, Mateo, when he starts asking about how he came about.

The synopsis uploaded by CarterMatt discusses what each character will be up to in upcoming episode. Jane will open up to dating and be taken aback when her date introduces her to his grandmother. Jane will face another difficult situation with Rafael Mateo starts to question their family. This will make Jane and Rafael have a serious conversation with him and honestly tell him how he came into this world.

Meanwhile, Petra (Yael Grobglas) will learn something about Chuck (guest star Johnny Messner) that will make her think about where their relationship stands.

Another couple that will have something going on in this episode are Jane's parents, Xo (Andrea Navedo) and Rogelio (Jaime Camil). They will have some exciting news to share with Jane but will be hesitant to share them because they are afraid of how she may react.

The promo trailer released for next week's episode shows more about Jane's new love life. The guy she is dating, Fabian (Francisco San Martin), is seen in the first few seconds telling Jane he's ready to have a physical relationship with her. This causes Jane to freak out and run into the bathroom, wherein she convinces herself that what she's about to do is part of having a fling and it is okay. The trailer ends with Jane walking back into the room with a naked Fabian.

Next week's episode of "Jane the Virgin" is called "Chapter Sixty-Two." "Jane the Virgin" season 3, episode 18 is scheduled to air on Monday, May 8, at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
