Actress Jennifer Garner recently revealed how she feels about her current situation with regards to her split with the father of her three children, "Gone Girl" actor Ben Affleck.

Garner, in an interview with News.com.au, shared that she never wanted the life she and her kids are in right now. "I would not have chosen this life for myself or for my kids. I would not choose to be single or be in this position. It's something that we are working through," the "13 Going On 30" actress revealed.

She also revealed that she had not dated anyone since her split with Affleck two years ago and that she was not interested in getting into the dating scene. Fans were now speculating if Garner had really moved on from her former beau, with whom she shares three children, Violet, 12, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5.

Meanwhile, the same could not be said for Affleck, who is now with "SNL" producer Lindsay Shookus. Even so, Garner has been vocal and public about her support for the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor.

In March, Affleck shocked the world when he announced that he entered a rehab for alcohol issues. Affleck, for his part, had also been known to express his gratitude for Garner's efforts to help him.

In his Facebook post, Affleck detailed how he went to address his alcohol problems to be the best father he could be, with the help of family and friends. He went on to say that he was "lucky" to have Garner who had taken the time to aid him and who had taken care of their children while he was undergoing treatment.

Sources of People claim that Affleck had a relapse in September and sought the help of Garner and his brother, "Manchester by the Sea" actor Casey Affleck. "He asked for help. He wants to be sober," the insider said.
