Actress Jennifer Lawrence, 27, and boyfriend director Darren Aronofsky, 48, have reportedly called it quits.

Sources of Entertainment Tonight confirmed that the pair had decided to go separate ways last month after dating for one year, but no reason was disclosed. Many fans then found it remarkable that Aronofsky and Lawrence were spotted together at the LA Governors Awards, held on Nov. 11, considering that the pair broke up in October.

With this, an insider claimed that they had remained good friends even after their breakup. Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter had released a podcast interview of the "Passengers" star on Monday where she gushed over how she met Aronofsky.

Lawrence and Aronofsky worked together on the set of "Mother!" where their romance was presumed to have blossomed. The former narrated that she had a crush on him a year before the rehearsals for the film.

"We just kind of formed a friendship. He knew how I felt; he never told me how he felt. I mean, I assumed. And then friendship turned into a partnership once we started working. And when the movie was done, I was like, 'Alright, you're my boyfriend,'" the "Hunger Games" star revealed.

Aronofsky and Lawrence also graced the Toronto International Film Festival together in September and were all praises for each other. The director described his muse as nothing short of excellent, attributing to her talent, while the "Silver Linings Playbook" actress described her love as "brilliant" and "incredibly instinctual."

The former couple first hinted romance in 2016, but Lawrence only publicly addressed the rumors in September this year, as she had been known to be private with her personal life.

Lawrence was rumored to have dated Coldplay's lead, Chris Martin, and "X-Men" co-star, Nicholas Hoult. Meanwhile, Aronofsky had dated "The Mummy" actress Rachel Weisz, with whom he shares a son, from 2001 to 2010.
