Jeremy Lin 2015 news: Linsanity wows crowd in China in Hornets vs Clippers game

Jeremy Lin finally showed his wares as a Charlotte Hornet, but what made it more special is that he did so right in his very own turf — China.

While his debut seemed to be just like any other ordinary basketball day for the Asian-American baller, he was just amazed at the support thrown at him by the Chinese fans when the Hornets faced the Clippers.

"I am surprised that fans treated me so well...no matter in the hotel or when I was walking around, they'd bring up posters and the jerseys," he said.

Apparently the fans gave the same support that team owner Michael Jordan has had, seeing that the Great One was pretty much happy with Lin whom he called a big catch.

Lin seems to be starting things off right, aching to bounce back and get his career back on track.

After bombing out in Los Angeles, it seems that Lin has indeed finally found a new home in North Carolina and hopefully his performance is just a taste of how stinging the Hornets could be once the regular season kicks off later this month.

Could good times be finally back? Better yet, has Linsanity returned?

Well, it is a bit early to tell. In fact, the game where he played in was a preseason billing. The hard part will come when Lin has to buckle down to really serious business and also make sure that he does not fall prey to injuries again. It may be noted Lin had incurred injuries in previous years.

Lin is likely to come off the bench to spell Kemba Walker, although there is a chance that he could be inserted in the starting unit if head coach Steve Clifford decides to do so since regular small forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist will be out of action due to injury.
