Recently, the superstar of the Brookly Nets Jeremy Lin rvealed how he got into his current team as well as the journey he went through in order to become the new face of Brooklyn. He concluded the narration by summarizing that the entire ordeal happened overnight, in a literal sense.

According to Game N Guide, no team was able to convince him earlier this year, and as such he remained one of the most-desired players left in the NBA free agency. The reason behind it is that he had a pretty dour performance with the Los Angeles Lakers, and that he was just barely hanging on without any real chances of landing any good deals.

However, on one fateful night where he was praying with family member and friends, his chance finally came.

His mentor Kenny Atkinson is already the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets and he gave Lin a lucrative offer. The latter remembered that the best part about the former knocking on his door was the fact that the offer is not only for a contract but also an invitation to lead the Nets. This is one of the things most Triple-A players dream of, and as such what was supposed to be a nightmare for Lin turned out to be a dream come true.

Meanwhile, Nets Daily reports that Kevin McHale — Jeremy Lin's former coach — only had good things to say about his former point guard. He said that through the years, Lin became a better player overall.

As for Lin's current team, despite the fact that most experts project that it will only win an average of 20 games this season, McHale said that it is possible for the team to surprise people. Regardless, fans can only wait to see how the Nets will perform this upcoming season with Jeremy Lin on their team.
