It wasn't too long ago that Jeremy Lin shared he was burnt out despite playing sparingly in the 20114-15 NBA season with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Everyone knows his story and chances are that Lin would be playing somewhere else next NBA season. And to make sure he is fit and prim, the Asian-American professional basketball player has started to get in shape.

Lin is working his way back to proper form with Steve Nash. Nash recently retired with the Lakers after getting fed up with his share of injuries and has been known to guide most of the Laker guards.

Hence technically, Lin is still a Laker until the free agent period where someone would pick him up. And according to the rumor mill, there are a lot of teams interested in picking up Lin, especially the ones lacking a point guard.

That list includes his former team, the Houston Rocket, though the frontrunner right now seems to be the Denver Nuggets.

With word that Mike D' Antoni has been interviewed for the head coaching position, it doesn't come as a surprise that the Nuggets could end up signing Lin to their fold. Of course that would depend if D' Antoni would eventually be chosen.

But with the Nuggets planning to trade Ty Lawson, whether it be D' Antoni or someone else, Lin could still be signed up by the ballclub.

One concern that may hinder his signing is his salary. To continue playing in the NBA and hook up with other teams, Lin may need to step back and agree to a lower salary. That of course excludes low-balling teams since Lin can technically be in the mid-level salary scale.

Lin will be out to prove something, especially after a forgettable season donning the purple and gold. Whichever team gets him will likely benefit immensely though it remains that he should be a good fit to that team's system which could result in 'Linsanity' being reborn once more.
