Jeremy Lin seeks help for smooth transition with Hornets

Jeremy Lin knows that while he has found a new home, settling in and getting accustomed to the new culture and environment over in North Carolina will not be an easy one. And while he will surely try to fit in, the Asian-American is seeking some help from God to make it as smooth as possible.

Gospel Herald reports that through a prayer request sponsored by the Jeremy Lin Foundation, Lin offers, "As the offseason is winding down, here are some prayer requests going into next season: Prayer for a smooth transition as I move to Charlotte and get settled in there. Also that I would really connect with my teammates and coaches quickly."

As everyone knows, Lin settled to join the Hornets after a lackluster outing with the Los Angeles Lakers. The opportunity provides Lin a new lease on life and hopefully, he can rekindle the good old Linsanity days with his new ballclub where he will be under contract worth $ 4.3 million for the next two years.

Aside from his NBA tenure, Lin sought prayers as well for his brother Joseph.

It will be recalled that Joseph Lin was signed up by the Taiwanese basketball team Fubon Braves for the Super Basketball League as he tries to follow the footsteps of his brother.

With the spiritual guidance, Lin is hoping that he finally gets the proper break he needs to show the real stuff he has on the court.

Lin, of course, was best known for his breakout season with the New York Knicks back in 2011–12. He then moved over to the Houston Rockets in 2012–14 before landing in Los Angeles last year.

When Lin's contract ended with the Lakers, multiple teams sought the former Harvard University standout. Among the teams that showed interest in him include the Golden State Warriors, Phoenix Suns, and the Houston Rockets.
