This early, Jeremy Lin has so far rebounded from a lackluster season since hooking up with the Charlotte Hornets. He has been a revelation and one reason why the Hornets hold a 10–7 record.

Compared to last year when he was hardly given any opportunity to shine with the Los Angeles Lakers, Lin has shown what the purple and gold could have enjoyed with him if they only took the risk. But the Lakers' loss is the Hornet's gain and the team is buzzing magnificently.

Lin comes off the bench, which doesn't seem to be a problem for him. He knows his place and seeing that Kemba Walker is the obvious starting point guard for the team, he has made a decent living playing his best when he is called upon by head coach Steve Clifford.

With that said, Lin seems to be pretty much content with where he is now. Unless the Hornets entertain trades, Charlotte has a lock on Lin until next year after the Harvard graduate signed a $4 million dollar deal for two years in the offseason.

Lin has been linked to a lot of trade rumors, including the Golden State Warriors. But seeing how both Lin and the Warriors are doing great, a trade doesn't seem sensible at this point.

So how about other teams? Well, there was mention before of the Chicago Bulls but it doesn't appear to be anything more than a rumor.

The same goes with other teams in the mix. That list includes the Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings, and even his old team — the New York Knicks. The teams could benefit from Linsanity but unless the coach knows how to play him, he could end up in the same role as he did with the Lakers last year.

For now, it may be best to leave Lin alone as he tries to hone up his skills in Charlotte. He has been an asset and a revelation, so why ship him now?
