'19 Kids and Counting' Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald wedding details: No traditional dress, cake or kiss

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald have tied the knot. They spent one of the most special events in their life in their own unique way—just the way they like it.

Jessa and Ben Seewald chose to do their wedding in a not-so traditional way by tweaking some of the wedding details. For one, the couple didn't share their first kiss in front of the guests. There were more than 1,000 guests during their wedding and while many are waiting for the first kiss moment, Jessa and Ben chose to kept it private.

According to People, the newlyweds had their first kiss in private. They waited until the reception to share a sweet kiss with their guests. Pastor Mike Schadt told People "They wanted their very first kiss ever to be in private. It was important to the both of them."

Pastor Schadt did explain the couple's decision before the crowd. Nonetheless, the pastor did ask Jessa's parents Jim Bob and Michelle to give the crowd a kiss. "So, now you've seen a Duggar kiss," the pastor said.

There's another thing that the Seewald's did the untraditional way. Jessa and Ben opted to do away with the wedding cake. Jessa told People "I don't really like cake." So what did the couple have then?

"We wanted ice cream sundaes instead," spilled Jessa, and so they did. They served ice cream sundaes to the guests. The sundaes came with a variety of toppings including chocolate, brownies, candy, cookies and caramel. It was indeed a very sweet night for everyone.

To top the night off, it would be probable to think that Jessa would go with the traditional wedding gown, but she didn't. Instead, she chose a blush gown from Tesori Bridal. It was described as an Allure dress from the modest line, reported People. Its bodice was fully beaded with pearls and Swarovski crystals.

Co-owner of Tesori Bridal Lindsey Stavely said, "We didn't know if she would like it because it wasn't the traditional white." Jessa kept coming back for the second one and at the end, she picked that. "It was the second dress I tried on. I loved it," she gushed.

It was truly the perfect wedding for Jessa and Ben. Now, they're off to their secret honeymoon to enjoy some privacy.
