Jessa Duggar, Ben Seewald engaged? 19 Kids and Counting stars' overseas mission trip sparks wedding rumors

"19 Kids and Counting" stars Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald recently went on an overseas trip together, but not to get engaged.

Fans are looking forward to hearing the news of the couple's engagement soon.

Seewald has been courting Duggar since summer. And just like the courtship between Jill and Derick Dillard, they set the rules (no kissing, no holding hands, no front-hugging). So, how are Duggars' parents taking the news that their daughter is traveling abroad with her boyfriend? Good, actually.

According to the official Duggar blog site, Duggar and Seewald went on an overseas trip not to have fun, but for a mission. So there's no engagement here. They are jet setting for a mission trip in Central America and they're not alone. Other family members and friends are joining them too.

The Duggar blog stated that the mission will be a 12-day trip to three countries with S.O.S. Ministries. "The "Seekers of Souls" mission will visit Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador to pursue 'those who are hopeless, so they may become believers in our Lord, [which] has become our vision and passion in following both the example of Christ and Paul," as described by The Stir.

Well, it won't be a surprise if Duggar and Beeswald leave Central America as an engaged couple. Jim Bob Duggar said it himself, mission trips are "life-changing" events. Add this to the beautiful location of Central America, Duggar might come back to Arkansas with a ring on her finger.

In related news, Michelle Duggar also talked about the chaperones when their kids date. Chaperones should be at least 10 years old. As mentioned above, Duggar and Beewald created their own courtship rules. They shared this with the chaperones so everyone is on the same page. This is the same thing Jill and Derick Dillard did during their courtship, except they added holding hands as a privilege once they got engaged.
