Fans of 19 Kids and Counting got an unexpected treat during the last episode when Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard appeared in a short video during the commercials to share more ultrasound images of Baby Dilly.

Jill, who is 5 months into her pregnancy, couldn't keep from smiling as Derick held up the images of their baby.

They were both eager to show off their little boy and one of the pictures showed him sleeping with his little arm raised up. 

"He's sleeping like mum sleeps so that's pretty cool," Derick laughed.

They both shared that they were feeling excited about Baby Dilly - their first child together since tying the knot in June. 

And Jill revealed that Baby Dilly has been very active, kicking just before they went to camera.  Derick shared that he gave his son a little squeeze and Baby Dilly kicked back.  

"We can't wait, just feeling great now," he said. 

"We are super excited to start our family and happy to have you all along for the ride," Jill added.

The pair have been keeping fans regularly updated about the progress of Jill's pregnancy, which has so far progressed without any issues beyond a little morning sickness in the first trimester.

They've also often spoken about how thankful they are to God for their first child. 

When they found out they were having a son last month, Derick said it was "very special" that their first child was going to be a boy so that he could "be the leader of his siblings". 

But more important than the gender, he added that both of them had been praying that their child would be healthy.

"I was praying for a big, healthy baby," Derick said.
