It has been a big week for ABC's America talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" without Jimmy Kimmel himself. Kimmel had to take some time off the show in order to accompany his son, Billy, who recently received his second heart surgery. The show featured four guest hosts for the entire week.

Helping out Kimmel are four icons from different industries including sports, film, and music. The week of guest hosting started on Oct. 30 with four-time National Basketball Association (NBA) champion, Shaquille O'Neal. The big man first experienced a prank conducted by Kimmel's partner-in-crime, Guillermo. O'Neal also had the chance to interview actresses Aisha Tyler and Mila Kunis.

Next in line is Foo Fighters frontman, Dave Grohl. The vocalist hosted the show on Halloween with a David Letterman costume. He also talked to music legend Alice Cooper and Frozen star Kristen Bell.

Talented actor and dancer Channing Tatum started November with a dance routine to the tune of "Gonna make you sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" by C+C Music Factory and Freedom Williams. On his first day at the job, Tatum asked singer and songwriter Pink about her Halloween experience this year with her family. The "Magic Mike" star hosted the show for the second time on Nov. 3 and he had a conversation with another world renowned television host, Ellen DeGeneres.

Fourth guest host is Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence and she chatted with television and fashion personality Kim Kardashian. Lawrence also talked to some people walking along Hollywood boulevard if they knew who "Jennifer Lawrence" was. The week of guest hosting also featured talented music guests like the band Linkin Bridge and rappers Ty Dolla $ign and YG.

Earlier this year, Kristen Bell and comedian Anthony Anderson filled in the position to also allow the host to make time for his son. Kimmel's son Billy was born with a heart defect and underwent immediate surgery. Kimmel was emotional when he made the announcement on his show on May 1. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs from Monday to Friday at 11:35 p.m. EST on ABC.
