Teresa Giudice will be home to celebrate Christmas with her family as the star is set to be released for home confinement on Dec. 23. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star has been in federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut since Jan. 5, serving her 15-month prison sentence for fraud. As the cookbook author is serving her last weeks in prison, one person who can't wait for her to get home is her husband, Joe.

Speaking to E! News, Joe talked about Teresa's life behind bars, saying that she has been staying positive and has made a few friends there.

Joe will be serving his own prison sentence once Teresa has been released. It was reported that the 43-year old will report to prison in March 2016, which gives the couple three months to spend together before he starts serving his 41-month prison sentence.

When asked if Teresa has given him any tips on what to do once he's in jail, Joe said that his wife told him that they have their own kind of language in there.

"I don't know what you wanna call it—jail talk? She learns certain words and I'm like, 'Really Tre?'" he said.

Joe also said that his wife told him that in jail, the inmates have a system wherein they can trade services in exchange for goods.

"So let's say somebody does your hair, you give them a pretzel," he said. "There's no money exchange in there….I don't know, I guess I'll figure it out when I get there."

Though he will be starting his prison sentence in a few months, Joe is determined to do his time and "get out," saying that for him, there is nothing to be scared of about going to jail.

"You just go in, do your time, and get out," he said. "Like everybody else does. That's what I'm gonna do."
