The 2016 Grammy Awards recently concluded and country artists Joey and Rory Feek were grateful enough to have been nominated for Best Country Group/Duo for their song "If I Needed You."

Joey, who has been battling stage IV cancer, celebrated the event at home with her husband and daughter, Indiana, who just turned two. On their Facebook page on Monday, the Feeks even shared that Indiana's hair was done by her aunts in preparation for the show.

The 40-year-old singer was diagnosed with stage IV cervical cancer last year and chose to abandon her treatment. She may not have attended the awards show, but her daughters, Heidi and Hopie, were present on behalf of their parents.

Rory, who has been blogging about his life with his wife, wrote on Friday that Joey has been telling him to go to the Grammys; but the 49-year-old country singer insisted that he'd stay home to be with her.

"I can't leave her. I won't. I have done many foolish things and made lots of mistakes in my life, but this isn't going to be one of them," the post from This Life I Live reads.

"Instead, I will be sitting beside her and cheering on Little Big Town, and Blake Shelton and Charles and all the talented folks who are nominated in our category and others. It's an honor for us to just be a part of that night, it truly is," it continued.

Although the couple didn't win the Best Country Group/Duo, they still showed their appreciation for being nominated.

They recently posted a photo on Instagram, showing a medal with the word "Grammy Nominee" inscribed on it, with a caption that reads "...more than enough." The Feeks reacted humbly to the announcement that they didn't win. They told Entertainment Tonight, "When you love country music as much as we do, to even be nominated for a Grammy for Best Duo/Group Country Vocal Performance is like winning the lottery."
