In his latest update about his terminally ill wife Joey Feek, Rory Feek opened up to E! Online about how he is preparing himself for the not-so-distant future with his beloved partner no longer around.

The country and bluegrass duo's latest album called "Hymns rhat Are Important to Us" will be "the last record that Joey and I will ever get to make and the last songs we'll ever get to sing together," Rory said.

"I have no desire to go on singing or performing without her," he added. The album will be released Feb. 12 exclusively at Cracker Barrel. Rory said that Joey recorded the final vocals from a hotel room in Georgia last year, while getting chemo treatment and radiation.

After "Hymns that Are Important to Us" comes out, the singing couple will also release a DVD that features a concert held by Joey and Rory from their farm back in September in addition to interviews they did with Bill Gaither last October.

"I sat beside Joey's bed and watched the final edit of the DVD with her a couple of weeks ago. We were both moved to tears. It's very special," Rory said.

In his latest update on Joey's condition on his blog This Life I Live, Rory said that his wife's condition continues to "decline" (and she and everyone were growing more and more heartbroken about it) but their daughter Indy never fails to make her mommy laugh out loud.

Rory is well aware of the love Joey and his family is receiving from tons of fans who know what they are going through. He told Today about how strangers would come up and hug him (and even cry) when they happen upon him in a grocery store.

Rory mentioned during his interview with the aforementioned publication that he is very thankful for the people who show their love and care for his wife and his family.
