It would certainly be a great feeling to open the front door and be surprised to see a real life Santa wishing everyone Merry Christmas.

That's how country artist Joey Feek and her husband, Rory, must be feeling when Santa came to town a few days ago to deliver a gift from the couple's friends in Arkansas.

Rory stated in his blog that the Santa man made his wife's day a bit better by sharing his own stories about life.

He added he was the closest thing to the real Santa he had ever seen and described that the jolly man "had the real beard, the real belly, and on top of that he had the kindest smile and a heart for special babies and mama's with no hair... I loved him from the moment I met him."

Santa definitely gave Feek a bit of life that day. The singer and her family are enjoying every minute of her last days while receiving medical care for her cervical cancer that has already reached its final stage.

Feek spent several weeks on a hospital bed battling it out against cancer, which had robbed her a normal life since she was diagnosed with the disease.

She has finally spent some quality time with her daughter after living for weeks in the hospital.

Husband Rory stated in the blog, "I guess the power-of-the-will is much stronger than the power of fear." He added that his wife must be tired of lying down on that hospital bed, wondering what it would be like to live life like she used to.

Rory also said that he is proud of Feek for trying to live life as much as possible for their family.

Feek and her husband have a beautiful one-year-old daughter named, Indiana. In Rory's blog post last year, the couple revealed that Indiana has Down syndrome but said that they would never regret it. The couple is still thankful to have gotten a special gift from God.
