Right before this year's New York Comic-Con, the first teaser trailer for "John Wick: Chapter Two" has been released. And while it is less than half a minute long, it does showcase the titular character gearing up for action, an element that many critics and fans praised in the first film.

The trailer shows Wick (Keanu Reeves) getting measured for a new suit, presumably in Rome given that the sequel is set in Rome, Italy instead of the United States. However, before the teaser ends it is revealed that the tailor shop also carries weapons and may be an establishment for known mercenaries such as John Wick.

He is asked if this suit is going to be used for formal purposes or for a "social affair" to which Wick states it is the latter. After suiting up he then takes several weapons from the shop's armory and prepares for combat, ending the short teaser.

According to Cinema Blend, the full trailer will be released on Saturday, Oct. 8, during a panel at the New York Comic-Con, and it will be available online for audiences who were not able to attend the event in person. Other than the trailer, the panel will also include a Q&A session with the cast as well as a first-look at the VR game "John Wick Chronicles."

"John Wick: Chapter Two" sees Wick pulled out of retirement a second time, but this time due to his loyalty to an old friend. The synopsis states that he will be traveling to Rome to help this friend take over a mysterious guild of international assassins. In doing so he will be going up against many other mercenaries and assassins who are like himself.

The film will see the return of Bridget Moynahan as Helen Wick, John's deceased wife, as well as Ian McShane, the owner of the Continental Hotel.

"John Wick: Chapter Two" will be released on Feb. 10, 2017.
