Nick Jonas speaks out about a possible reunion for the Jonas Brothers amidst strong rumors that this is finally happening, over four years after they disbanded.

Talking to Ryan Seacrest for E! News at the 2018 Grammy Awards, Nick broke the news that possibly also broke many fans' hearts. A Jonas Brothers reunion is not happening, at least for now.

"We hung out for a weekend all together then I guess our Instagram is restarted or reopened," he told Seacrest, adding, "But I can tell you there is no reunion planned."

Still, the youngest Jonas clarified that there is still hope. "I can never say never. You never know what's happening," he added.

Nick's statement at the Grammys was a big blow, as it comes just a day after Kevin Jonas posted a captionless photo of the three of them together, further fueling the reunion rumors.

The photo was, apparently, taken at the Republic Records' pre-Grammy party last Friday night. According to Entertainment Tonight, Nick attended the party solo, Kevin came with his wife Danielle, while Joe arrived hand-in-hand with fiancé Sophie Turner.

The three brothers — Nick, Joe and Kevin — first sparked reunion rumors last Jan. 15, when eagle-eyed fan Ashley Iaconetti noticed that their official Instagram page was back up. Its latest photo is still that of their Boston show back in July, 2013, the same month they announced their disbandment.

In an interview with "Good Morning America" later that year, the brothers explained why they thought it was already time for them to go separate ways. "We're family first and that's always been our main priority," Nick then said in the show.

The brothers shared that they have had some internal rifts that would have ruined their relationship as a family had they not disbanded.

Since then, Nick pursued a solo career, Joe found major success with his band DNCE, and Kevin has chosen a more quiet life with his wife Danielle Deleasa and kids Valentina and Elena.
