Josh Duggar, the eldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, is reportedly aiming to get back on television. According to a report from The Hollywood Gossip, Josh is not content on staying at home and letting the rest of his family do all the work. This has gotten speculations he may make an appearance on "Jill and Jessa: Counting On."

Josh was previously identified as a strong leader for the Duggar family until 2015, when it was discovered he had molested five women, four of whom were his siblings, when he was aged 14 and 15. This led to the cancellation of their long-running reality TV show, "19 Kids and Counting."

The eldest Duggar again ran into trouble when the dating site Ashley Madison was hacked and it was revealed he had an account, enabling him to cheat on his wife Anna. The report points out that he had admitted to cheating on Anna while she was pregnant and that he was addicted to sex.

As stated in a report from the IBTimes, Josh and Anna have entered marriage counseling and Josh has gone through rehabilitation to deal with his issues. However, The Hollywood Gossip reports that all of this, including Josh's alleged statement he is tired of letting his family earn while he's at home, is a ploy to get him back on TV.

"This is a ploy by Josh to get back onto TV. He's hoping this will show everyone he's taken real steps to deal with his problems," explained an unidentified inside source. "Josh is realizing that his father, Jim Bob, can't keep supporting him financially for the rest of his life."

However, there are rumors that TLC has no plans of renewing "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" for a second season and this may impede Josh's current plans unless he is able to work out a new deal with the network.
