A lot of people are terrified of going to the dentist, and for good reason: It can be an extremely painful experience. But 19 Kids and Counting's Josiah Duggar maintained a positive attitude all throughout his recent trip to the dentist and even managed to make some jokes after getting his wisdom teeth pulled.

In a blog post entitled "Duggar Loses Wisdom," Josiah's trip to the dentist was recorded by his brother Jason. The family wrote, "Do you remember watching Jana and Jill Duggar have their wisdom teeth pulled in 18 Kids and Counting'Duggars Under the Knife'? That was six years ago. Since then, several other Duggars have had the same procedure. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar recently took 18-year-old Josiah Duggar to have his wisdom teeth surgery."

"A lot of the other kids have had theirs done. I'm not quite sure how it's going to turn out," said Josiah at the start of the video as he was getting into the car.

"I'm not scared," the young man said, adding that he only hoped he would not miss his tooth.

Before meeting the dentist, his father Jim Bob gave him a handshake and the young Duggar gave his brother a thumbs up as a sign of confidence.

An hour later, Josiah came out with a swollen face and a wrap around his head, and his father had to help him walk and get into the car. He looked like he was in a lot of pain but he was still able to give the thumbs up to his brother.

When his brother asked how things went, Josiah answered: "Well, it went pretty fast."

He even said that he would recommend the procedure to everybody. "Do it early. Just rip it out! Especially before you're married," he joked.
