'Jurassic World 2' plot rumors: will dinosaurs be used as crime fighters?

Speculations suggest that the hybrid theory about the "Jurassic Park" franchise will continue with "Jurassic World 2" in 2018.

In the "Jurassic World" movie, fans saw Dr. Henry Wu, played by DB Wong, get on a helicopter to escape the island. However, an interesting note is that Dr. Wu seems to be carrying what remained of the results of the genetics lab in the Jurassic World theme park – a case full of hybrid embryos. According to Vine Report, the plot for the next sequel is presumably a rehash of an alternate script for a "Jurassic Park 4," showing the events after the embryos are taken from Isla Nublar.

Apparently, the embryos are cultured and developed, becoming a squad of trained dinosaurs that takes on organized crime, especially drug-related ones. While the plot itself is still uncertain, a team of dinosaurs fighting with men at their side is certainly plausible since it is already hinted at in "Jurassic World." Originally, the team under Chris Pratt's care is supposedly being developed for battlefield use, or at least a military application on the species. In addition, series producer Steven Spielberg is also reportedly keen on the idea of crime-fighting dinosaurs.

Meanwhile, confirmed details on the upcoming film are scarce, but it is already revealed that "Jurassic World 2" will be a direct sequel of the "Jurassic World" movie. It is already established that Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are reprising their roles for the upcoming follow-up. However, there are changes to the characters themselves, with Howard hinting that "... Claire is a different person now. The person she is at the end of the [first] movie is not the person she was in the beginning. Her armor of sorts was that white, pristine outfit with heels in a very corporate environment and stuff, and the chick at the end – totally different. So yeah... it better not be heels."

"Jurassic World 2" is set for release on June 22, 2018.
