Avalanche Studios has slated a big reveal this week for its newest title, "Just Cause 3." The game developer tweeted in the game's official account that the gameplay reveal will take place on Tuesday, April 28, which can be first seen by hardcore fans in the game's official YouTube channel.

No other details have been leaked yet regarding the upcoming instalment for the "Just Cause" franchise. However, rumor mills have gone into overdrive, predicting what the new game will be all about. In addition, publisher Square Enix has already come out with the game's box art, and it can be glimpsed that the title will have new features under its wing.

For the story, Game Informer got an exclusive when it wrote about the upcoming game's plot. The story is set several years after the game's second installment, and main protagonist Rico Rodriguez goes home to his native Medici, a make-believe island set in the Mediterranean. Here, he wages war against a dictatorship headlined by General Di Ravello.

Explosive missions and features make up the gameplay arsenal. The protagonist will also come equipped with a new wingsuit, allowing him to reach speeds while free falling. In addition, there will be a new grapple mechanic that will permit Rodriguez to hook onto most objects in the game, including enemies and aircraft passing overhead.

The new map will cover at least 400 square miles, divided into three areas. Rodriguez can then attack these towns and "own" them, letting players fast travel, save vehicles, and call a supply drop.

"Just Cause 3" will be released in the holidays and will be made available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
