The team that brought the mega-entertaining multiplayer mod in the previous iterations of the open world action-adventure favorite "Just Cause" is at it again, this time for the new one-month old installment "Just Cause 3." A trailer for the upcoming multiplayer mod was released to show what gamers will soon be in for.

The video showed that the infamous race mode makes a return. Players of "Just Cause 2" know very well that this mode was the biggest and most popular aspect of the mod. It sees players in cool race cars and even in limousines race through steep cliffs and mountainsides.

The "Just Cause 3" multiplayer mod trailer also showcased some wild drifting and an aircraft burning the high road to dust by launching some missiles. The fast-moving clip was noticeably filled with explosions, cars making their ways into all sorts of tracks and again, more explosions.

"We're incredibly excited to show off the progress we've made these last few weeks," the multiplayer mod team wrote on its official website. "Moving forward you can expect frequent updates on our progress along with exciting new developments as they happen," they added.

According to Gear Nuke, the multiplayer mod for "Just Cause 3," despite its already amazing and smooth progression, is still in the early phase of development. There's no definite date yet on when it will be fully available for players to take advantage of.

Meanwhile, Cinema Blend brought into play some worries that despite the multiplayer mod turning out to be stellar as the team makes it out to be, issues on synching and lagging may cost some of the fun in playing as this was the case in "Just Cause 2."

Either way, fans rejoice in the fact that a multiplayer mod will be making "Just Cause 3," which was developed and released by Avalanche Studios last month, far more awesome than it already is.
