"Just Cause 3" was released just this month and the game came with glitches. Just recently, Steam announced the rollout of a new patch — patch 1.021.

"Just Cause 3" is undoubtedly an exciting game that has won the hearts of many players when it arrived. The previous patch fixed some of the many issues the game came with, but along it were also new bugs.

Patch 1.02 was rolled out last week, but some of the issues have not been fixed, especially the part wherein the game crashes when players exit to their desktop. But with Steam's announcement on the new patch, this particular crashing bug was fixed and the game also received an improvement when it comes to memory management.

An announcement from Steam posted on its blog site highlights that patch 1.021 is 99 MB in size and brings "improved stability when exiting to desktop" and "improved memory management."

The announcement also shares that the reason for the crashing game has been identified and already fixed, although, it doesn't mention nor explain the cause of the glitch.

The update also enhances the game's memory management and some systems will notice the improvement better than others.

Meanwhile, PCGamesN.com reported that Avalanche Studios has yet to fix problems concerning the game's frame rate that many players have encountered, especially when adjusting such to 60 frames per second (FPS) or higher.

Memory management may help, but the news outlet noted that the main issue is in optimizing different types of graphics cards.

But as noted in Steam's announcement, Avalanche is determined to continue improving the game and bring updates to "Just Cause 3."

"Just Cause 3" is the third installment to the "Just Cause" franchise released back in 2006. The open-world action video game has received praises for its gameplay, as well as criticisms for its performance issues.

"Just Cause 3" is available for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
