Julian Lewis Jones finally spilled the beans on his role in the highly-anticipated "Justice League" a couple of weeks before the film arrives in theaters.

All eyes will be on the core members of the Justice League like Superman, played by Henry Cavill; Batman, played Ben Affleck; Wonder Woman, played by Gal Gadot; The Flash, played by Ezra Miller; Aquaman, played by Jason Momoa; and Cyborg, played by Ray Fisher.

Aside from the main cast, there are also other characters that fans are excited to see, like Atlan the King of Atlantis. Jones has been speculated to portray a lot of roles ranging from the king of seas to Darkseid, the ruler of Apokolips and the nephew of Steppenwolf (CiarĂ¡n Hinds).

To quash the guessing game, the actor posted a behind-the-scenes picture of himself in costume on Instagram, confirming that he is playing King Atlan.

Jones' post seems to hint at "Justice League's" prologue sequence, which describes the first war of the New Gods against Earth several millennia before the events of the film. Considering the actor's role in the sequence, most likely he won't be making an appearance in the film's present timeline. On the other hand, fans will still spot Jones via King Atlan's statue when Jason Momoa's character retrieves the fallen king's armor.

Jones' photo may seem familiar to some hawk-eyed DC fans. It's because it's a cropped iteration of another behind-the-scenes picture that Zack Snyder posted on another social media app, Vera, a couple of days ago. In the picture, fans can easily spot the character of Atlan, even if it's a bit unclear if Jones was the one in costume due to the fact the King of Atlantis is covered by Atlantean armor from head to toe as well as facial hair.

"Justice League" will hit theaters on Nov. 17.
