The upcoming DC Extended Universe movie will premiere in the U.S. before the end of 2017. Jason Mamoa — who played Khal Drogo in "Game of Thrones" — will be portraying Aquaman in "Justice League."

Cinema Blend reports that DCEU will release "Justice League" on November 17, 2017. Upon its announcement, Warner Bros. also announced that there will be a "Justice League: Part Two" that will debut sometime in 2019.

However, director Zack Snyder revealed that the storylines of the two films are not intertwined, making each of them a standalone "Justice League" movie.

Snyder released the official comic-con trailer for "Justice League" at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con last July, where Bruce Wayne (Ben Afleck) and Princess Diana a.k.a. Wonderwoman (Gal Gadot) were seen recruiting the other metahuman members that will evenetually form the Justice League.

The two will be recruiting Cyborg (to be played by Ray Fisher), The Flash (played by Ezra Miller), and Aquaman.

Momoa's character is also known as Arthur Curry, and he appears to be more than qualified to be a part of the metahuman team out to save the world. When he played Khal Drogo on "Game of Thrones," Momoa portrayed a very strong and powerful character, which will once again be the case with Curry/Aquaman in "Justice League."

It seems that Momoa is also skilled at handling weapons as he recently posted a video on his Instagram account that showed off his skill when it comes to throwing axes.

It is anticipated that Superman (Henry Cavill) will be joining their team soon in "Justice League." In "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," Superman died because of Batman's kryptonite spear that was plunged into his chest. By the end of the movie, small rocks levitated above his casket, which suggests that one point Superman will be resurrected.

How Superman will return from the dead is yet to be revealed in "Justice League."

"Justice League" premieres on November 17, 2017.
