Justin Bieber has said that although he and Selena Gomez are no longer together, they remain friends and are supportive of each other's career. As for his feelings about the former Disney star, the 21-year old-has made them somewhat clear in his songs "Sorry" and "What Do You Mean?" but in a new interview with Access Hollywood, the "Baby" singer finally opened up about his current feelings about his ex, as he told Billy Bush that he may not be over the "Heart Wants What it Wants" singer.

"It was really tough. I don't know if I'm over it yet," said Bieber. "I think we've definitely went our separate ways. I love her and want her to be awesome, but there are some things that remind me of her."

The two dated on and off for four years before calling it quits in December 2014. Gomez then dated DJ Zedd from January to April, while Bieber has been linked to models Hailey Baldwin and Ashley Moore.

When asked whether the two may have met too early in life and gone into a relationship too soon, Bieber said, "Yeah, I wrote a song [that] didn't make the album. It was called 'If I Would Have Met You in Five Years.'"

In a previous interview with Complex magazine, Bieber admitted that they may have been too young when they started living together and that their relationship was similar to that of a marriage. He also said that they were very in love with each other and that the intensity of their relationship resulted in a lot of fights between him and Gomez.

Bieber told Bush that to this day, he still loves the "Spring Breakers" actress.

"I'm never going to stop loving her. I'm never going to stop checking on her," he said. "We always respected each other and we still respect each other."

When asked if he thinks they will ever get back together, Bieber said, "I don't know what happens. I don't know what is going to happen in the future."
