"I love her." This was what Pattie Mallette, mother of "Boyfriend" singer Justin Bieber, said of "Wolves" singer Selena Gomez.

In what was seemingly like a seal of approval, the mother of the Canadian singer revealed that she loves whomever her son chooses to love. "I support anything [he does], if he loves her I love her, and I've met her and we have a special bond so I think she's precious," Mallette revealed in an interview with People at the Justice Speaks Holiday Benefit Luncheon she attended with her 23-year-old son.

Even so, Bieber's mom stays out of his son's love life, saying that she "can't really speak on their relationship, that's between them." Mallette did not divulge much on the real status of the relationship of the "Friends" singer and the former Disney child star though she said that love keeps Bieber "more grounded."

Rumors have said that Bieber and Gomez are reconciling. They were seen multiple times in the span of two months, including when they were seen getting breakfast at Joi Café before attending church together later that day.

They were also seen riding bikes together, and Gomez has been going to Bieber's hockey game, before leaving the venue wearing the "Sorry" singer's uniform. Amidst the sightings, Gomez and then-boyfriend "Starboy" singer The Weeknd decided to go separate ways after dating for 10 months, and despite rumors of a third-party, sources said that the decision was because of the conflict in their schedules.

Even just as they were oftentimes seen together, Gomez and Bieber have remained mum on whether they have gotten back together. But, fans note that their actions speak louder than words, as seen in the recent video of Bieber being asked if he plans to propose to the "Wizards of the Waverly Place" actress. Instead of answering the question, he just smiled and blushed.
