The Kansas City Chiefs will be going on the road in Week 2 of the NFL 2016 regular season as they take on the Houston Texans at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. The game has a scheduled start time of 1 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the CBS network. The game can also be watched online through live stream via the link provided below.

The Texans got off to a slow start in their season opener against the Chicago Bears, with their offense completely locked down in the first quarter of the game. However, they came on stronger as the game went on, and that coupled with a tightening defense, they were able to claim a solid 23-14 victory against Chicago in Week 1.

However, they will know a lot of their good work from last week would be undone if they fail to perform today against the Chiefs, so they will be looking to continue to build upon the good work from last week, and to pick up a second straight win here today.

The Chiefs though will be no walkover. They also suffered a slow start in their opener against the San Diego Chargers last week, and in particular they had a very poor first half, going in at the break 21-3 down.

But a massive turnaround in the second half, saw the Chiefs' defense only give up two field goals, and the Kansas City offense went into overdrive, piling on 17 points in the final quarter to take things to overtime.

The Chiefs were able to complete their extraordinary comeback in overtime to claim a 33-27 win, and get their season off to the perfect start. They too will be vying to record a 2-0 start to the season here today against the Texans, so this should be a close game.

Earlier this week on Thursday Night Football the New York Jets achieved their first win of the season as they defeated their in-state rivals, the Buffalo Bills 37-31.

The Jets had opened up their season with a disappointing loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, where they looked like they were still in pre-season. However, the Jets woke up on Thursday night, and put on a much more explosive display.

Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick completed an impressive 24 of 34 passes for 374 yards as he took apart the Bills' secondary with the help of wide receivers Eric Decker, Brandon Marshall and Quincy Enunwa.

Decker put on a stellar performance with six catches and a touchdown, and moved to 18 straight games recording at least 80 receiving yards or a touchdown.

Marshall meanwhile also had a fantastic game, recording six catches for 101 yards. He did give the Jets a scare in the second quarter when he went down with a knee injury. Marshall made a 15 yard reception but went down under Bills cornerback Stephon Gilmore. Marshall was down on the field for several minutes.

Marshall said after the game: "I thought I was done. I thought I was going to be finishing in my backyard in Florida."

However, even though he departed the field with the help of trainers, he returned to the game and continued to tease the Bills' defense.

Fitzpatrick later said, "Brandon is one of the tougher guys you'll ever see. They were looking at his knee, and I didn't think it was good. To see him on the ground in pain, I knew something was wrong. But then, when he stepped back in the huddle later on, it was a big surprise, but relief as well."

Tyrod Taylor tried to get the Bills offense going, and completed 18 of 30 for 297 yards and three touchdowns, however, Buffalo were just too inconsistent throughout the night and lacked efficiency in their play.

Week 2 continues today and the Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Texans will take to the field to start at 1 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on the CBS network or online through live stream by clicking here.
