The Major League Baseball (MLB) 2015 World Series is set to roll this Tuesday, but the Kansas City Royals' starters have yet to be named, with club manager Ned Yost not revealing them until media day today, Monday, according to reports. 

When asked by reporters why he has yet to name a starter, Yost answered, according to Kansascity.com, "I'm just being a little bit of a punk."

Unlike the Royals, the New York Mets have already revealed their pitching rotation for the World Series. 

The Mets will start pitcher Matt Harvey for Game 1, then will be followed by Jacob deGrom in Game 2, Noah Syndergaard in Game 3, and Steven Matz in Game 4. 

New York's rotation will remain the same for Games 5, 6, and 7 if it will be necessary. 

In the report by Kansascity.com, Yost spoke about the Mets' rotation and praised the opposing club's pitchers. 

"You look at all four starters that they're going to start – they're all phenomenal starters, all of them. Really, their top 3 guys could be No. 1's on any organization. Matz, maybe he's a no. 2, maybe he's a no. 1, he's tough, too. They're a dynamic starting rotation," the Royals manager discussed. 

Despite the Royals not revealing their starting rotation yet, Kansascity.com and CBS Sports suggested that likely starters are pitchers Edinson Volquez, Johnny Cueto, Yordano Ventura, and Chris Young. 

According to reports, Volquez will likely be taking over the starting duties in Game 1 for the Royals. He will then be followed by Cueto in Game 2, Ventura in Game 3, and Young in Game 4. 

Game 1 of the MLB 2015 World Series will take place this Tuesday, Oct. 27, with the Royals having home field advantage in the first two games. 

The Royals are back in the grandest stage of baseball and will have the chance to win it all after losing to the San Francisco Giants last season.
