This series moves to Houston for Game 3 with the ALDS tied at 1-1. The Astros successfully stole back home field advantage in this series by claiming a win in Kansas, but it will all mean nothing if they cannot claim a win today.

This is a pivotal contest as the team that comes out on top moves to within one more victory of claiming the best of five series, where as the team that losses moves into must-win territory and will need to win the final two contests to steal the series and progress to the next round of the Playoffs.

Today will see Dallas Keuchel make his second start of the postseason for the Astros and he can expect an electrifying welcome and backing from home fans celebrating their first postseason game in Houston since the 2005 World Series.

Keuchel has gone 20-8 with a 2.48 ERA and leads the American League with 232 innings pitches.

He was the star as the Astros defeated the New York Yankees in the AL Wild Card Game last week, pitching six scoreless innings at Yankee Stadium, and he did that with a shorter three days of rest.

For today's game he has had the usual four games rest, and will look to continue his amazing record at home for the Astros this season. At Minute Maid Park this season he has gone 15-0 with a 1.48 ERA in 18 starts through the regular season.

Keuchel has said, "I think last year my road stats were better. Just one of those things. I guess as the crowds have gotten better and the support has gotten better, I think we've all played better. 2015 was our year at home. So we're going to look to build on that, and hopefully we can give these fans some more success."

Looking back the Astros will be satisfied coming home to Houston at 1-1 in the series, but they also will be kicking themselves a little as they know they were so close to coming home being 2-0 up.

Houston won Game 1 of this ALDS with a 5-2 win in Kansas City last week, and they were 3-0 up and 4-1 up in Game 2 before allowing the Royals back into the game to steal the win 5-4.

They will want a more clinical performance today in Houston and will be desperate to move to within one more win of the series win.
