Thanksgiving is the time to celebrate with family, but Kanye West was unable to share the special day with his loved ones as the rapper remained hospitalized at the UCLA Medical Center and is reportedly "expected to stay for several more days."

According to People, a source said that West's wife, Kim Kardashian West, went to the hospital Thursday morning to visit him. The reality star is said to have remained by her husband's side for a few hours before heading to the Kardashian/Jenner's Thanksgiving celebration hosted by her sister, Kylie Jenner, at her Calabasas home. The couple's children, daughter North, 3, and son Saint, 11 months, are currently with Kardashian West's mother, Kris Jenner.

The insider added that as soon as Kardashian West was rushed back from New York City to Los Angeles on Monday, the 36-year-old has been looking after her husband's well-being.

"As soon as she heard, all she cared about was getting to Kanye," said the source. She was so worried and didn't feel better until she was with him."

Before the "Gold Digger" hitmaker was hospitalized, West made headlines when he surprised 13,000 fans in Sacramento, California on Saturday night by ending his concert after only 30 minutes. He also delivered an explosive rant about Jay-Z and Beyoncé at the venue. The following day, it was reported that West canceled his other upcoming concerts which are part of his "Saint Pablo" tour.

Earlier this week, it was reported that West's physician, Dr. Michael Farzam, had placed the rapper on a 5150 psychiatric hold. According to TMZ, Farzam personally made the 911 call, and sources told the site that the doctor said that his patient "suffers from temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and dehydration."

In a new report, TMZ claims that the rapper's health problems are more serious than what was initially reported. A source told the site that West's psychological problems are significant enough that his insurance policy will almost certainly cover the losses for the 21 concerts he canceled.
